Summer in Finland video



I have watched this video, produced by VisitFinland, on many occasions, and it always makes me think: Yes- this is Finland in the summer, as it seems to capture everything that Finland has during the holiday season!

DFDS ferry

To get from Scotland to mainland Europe, we use the Danish ferry company, DFDS, who sail from Newcastle in England to Ijmuiden, close to Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Finnlines ferry

We will travel once again into Finland by using the excellent FinnLines ferry service from Travemunde in Germany.

Tallink Superfast ferry

Although we don't use this service, it's also possible to arrive in Finland from Germany by using the Tallink Superfast service from Rostock.
