Trailer



Unfortunately, I have forgotten my USB cable, to connect my camera to the laptop, so it won't be possible to upload photos to the blog until I get home.

However, here's a flavour of what the holiday has been about so far...

DFDS ferry

To get from Scotland to mainland Europe, we use the Danish ferry company, DFDS, who sail from Newcastle in England to Ijmuiden, close to Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Finnlines ferry

We will travel once again into Finland by using the excellent FinnLines ferry service from Travemunde in Germany.

Tallink Superfast ferry

Although we don't use this service, it's also possible to arrive in Finland from Germany by using the Tallink Superfast service from Rostock.
